Spirit of Women: What is it?
Spirit of Women is a national initiative that seeks to improve all aspects of a woman's life - mind, body, and spirit. The Spirit of Women initiative brings together traditional women's services with a broad range of educational and social activities that assist women in achieving balance among health, work, family and personal aspirations. This means informative seminars by health professionals, health screenings, entertaining and motivational events, fellowship with other women, local retailer-reward privileges, and national contests, campaigns, and vendors.

Spirit of Women: Who has it?
The Spirit of Women program is for women of all ages and backgrounds. With focus on the whole woman - mind, body, and spirit, this special resource offers insight into health and wellness issues at every life stage. And our annual program offerings seek to address the specific needs and interests of women in Union County.

Spirit of Women: Where is it?
The Spirit of Women program can be found in over 150 leading hospitals across the country. In this region, Carolinas Medical Center-Union and our sister hospital, Cleveland Regional Medical Center, in Shelby, NC, were the first to become exclusive Spirit of Women program providers. Events are held locally, at varied days and times.
