Nobody ever hopes to have to visit an emergency department, but if you do, it is comforting to know that you can count on the quality, compassion and dedication of the Emergency Department at CMC-Union to provide you with individualized care.

Our Emergency Department is a Level II Emergency Department and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The department's primary goal is to provide excellent care in an expeditious manner. Our board-certified physicians and highly skilled nurses are prepared to care for any type of illness or injury, from pediatric to geriatric, from a patient with a deep cut to one having a heart attack. 

Trauma care is also available at CMC-Union. The department is supported by MedCenter Air, Union EMS transport, and other resources of Carolinas Healthcare.
