Our staff is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages. Walk-in care is available and we accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. Healthcare assistance on a sliding fee scale is also available for those who are underinsured or uninsured.

Appointments
To schedule an appointment, please call 704-289-9461 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Walk-in care is available from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. to treat conditions that require prompt medical attention, but that are not life threatening.
Medication Requests
If you need a prescription refill, please contact your pharmacist as early as possible to avoid delays.
Billing and Insurance
We operate on a fee-for-service basis. To keep paperwork simple and our charges as low as possible, we ask that you pay when you come for an appointment. Our clinic does operate on a sliding fee schedule based upon income.
We accept Medicare and Medicaid assignment and participate in most major insurance programs and managed care plans. If you are covered by insurance, we will file all reports of your medical care with your insurance agency.
Please bring all insurance cards, identification and medications at time of visit.
After Hours, Weekends and Holidays
If you need emergency medical attention during weekends, holidays or evenings, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department at CMC-Union. If for any reason you are taken to the emergency room, please tell the ER staff that you are a Franklin Street patient.
Patients with Carolina Access Medicaid should call 704-512-3211 if emergency medical attention is needed after hours.
