CMC-Union received the 2007 VHA Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence.  With support from our nurses and respiratory therapists, we implemented a rapid response team that decreased patient mortality rates significantly.

CMC-Union received a 5-Star Community Value Rating from Cleverly & Associates for its performance in three areas:  financial strength and reinvestment, cost of care and pricing.

CMC-Union was recognized as an official 2007 Employer of Choice® for attracting, optimizing, and retaining our employees.

For two years in a row, Union Regional Home Care has been named to the 2007 HomeCare Elite listing, an annual compilation of the most successful home care providers in the country.

In 2007, The Edwards Cancer Center at CMC-Union received a three-year accreditation with Commendation from the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer. Only 25 percent of hospitals across the country have received this special recognition.

In 2009, CMC-Union earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) from the American Association for Respiratory Care. Only 15 percent of hospitals in the country have received this recognition.

The Wound Care Center^® at CMC-Union received the 2009 Center of Distinction Award from Diversified Clinical Services. This award is given to wound care centers with excellent patient satisfaction, exceptional healing rates and outstanding clinical outcomes.
